About Our Admin at K-Prep Preschool

Hello! I’m Carmen, the Center Director at K-Prep Preschool.

My journey in early childhood education began many, many moons ago as a parent volunteer, and that experience inspired me to pursue degrees in Early Childhood Education and Human Services.

I’m a mom of two girls: Aviana(18), a freshman at Macalester College on a full academic scholarship (humble brag!), and Kaomi(2), one of K-Prep’s very own top-tier students. You may see me chasing her around the lobby trying to get out the door at the end of the day because she just loves K-Prep so much!😅

I love what I do and feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an important stage in children’s lives. One of my favorite parts of K-Prep is our amazing team of dedicated teachers. Together, we work every day to create a place where children feel loved, supported, and excited to learn while giving them the advantage they need to succeed.
