The Best of Both Worlds
K Prep Preschool is proud to be a 4K Community Partner with the Waukesha School District, bringing a formal 4K program with a DPI-licensed teacher right here to our preschool. Your child can experience the benefits of a district 4K program while remaining in the familiar, nurturing environment of K Prep.
Like many 4K programs, our school day runs from 8:45 AM to noon, but your child's day doesn't have to end there. K-Prep offers wraparound care before and after 4K, making life easier for busy families. Siblings can stay in one place, parents don't have to leave work in the middle of the day, and there is no need to drive to multiple locations. Your child can also continue attending K Prep on days when 4K is not in session, giving families the convenience and consistency of having it all in one place.
It truly is the best of both worlds: a quality 4K experience with the convenience of full-day care.
Preparing 4K Learners for Kindergarten Success
- Come prepared to learn
- Arrive by 9am
- Bring backpack daily with full change of clothes
- Bring rest mat and lunch if staying for extended care
- Bring a labeled water bottle daily
- Be kind to your friends
- Be respectful to your teacher
- Be respectful to the toys and classroom materials

Jolene Weinkauf, 4K Teacher/ Operations Coordinator
Ms. Jolene has 15 years of teaching experience, with a background in daycare, 4K (both general and special needs), Kindergarten, and first grade. Ms. Jolene loves spending time with her husband, Andy, their daughters, Lucy and Carly, and her doggy, Daisy. Ms. Jolene also serves as the center's Operations Coordinator, assisting the director with everything.
